My 93 year old mother-in-law recently died from end-stage colon cancer under the care of Tranquil Care Hospice. I was in the home, along with her 6 children, for a 28 day period before her death. Speaking as an experienced oncology nurse, I want to compliment this excellent service and give you an idea what it meant to the family to have support for her transition.
Your team was consistently respectful, caring, and professional and treated my mother-in-law as the delightful individual that she was. The team very clearly communicated with the family and followed up on everything they promised (phone support, supply delivery, educational materials, drug delivery, etc.).
She was able to die in comfort in her own home, with her family present. I speak on behalf of the family to convey our heartfelt thank you for helping us make this possible.
The staff of Tranquil Care is Incredible!!! Very professional, on-call with very fast response 24/7. Most importantly, they truly care for the patient (my mother) as well as the family. I am a nurse and they, in my opinion, are the best I have experienced.
We originally selected a hospice that our palliative care doctor recommended for my 99 year old grandmother. Another resident was using Tranquil and we heard great things so we hired them. What a difference. The staff is very attentive and caring. They bathed her numerous times per week and nurses checked in on her regularly. They also provided her with all the necessary equipment, medication, and supplies to keep her extremely comfortable. When she was slowing down they were sensitive and prepared us for the final days. We are so happy we used Tranquil care for my grandmother.

Everyone at Tranquil Care Hospice was fabulous, caring, and supportive The night nurse, Terri, was amazing. I could call her any time of the day or night. The social worker, the day nurses, and the bathing aide were fabulous. They all did their jobs with professionalism and compassion. We could not have gone through our mother’s final stage and transition without their kind support and help.
